PC requirements.

PC Operating System

SailView is a windows based application written using Visual Studio 2008 with C++ and C#.  It has been tested on the 32 and 64 bit versions of XP (sp2), Vista and Windows 7 (build 7000).

PC Hardware

There are two separate sets of PC requirements.

The first set covers the use of LIVE and ANALYZE, the second set covers the use of REPLAY.

LIVE has been designed to use a little computer power as possible.  It will run on just about any PC that will run Windows XP SP2.  It has been tested on an ASUS R2Hwith a 900 MHz Celeron M and 1.25GB of RAM running Vista with no noticeable performance impacts.  It has also been tested on several laptops and tablets using AMD and Intel CPUs with great success.

REPLAY relies on Microsoft DirectX 9 and requires a graphics card that support vertex and pixel shader 2.0 or greater.  Most modern laptops, and certainly those geared as desktop replacements should have no problem running REPLAY.  The software will check your system's capabilities and report issues if found.

Since you can download and test REPLAY you will certainly know before you buy.
